Our style is a little vintage (a la Audrey Hepburn) with a bit of urban swing and bohemian reworked into nouveau classics. Our customer is a sophisticated, well-travelled woman, who loves the finer things in life, who has had exposure to great literature, food, art and loves to express herself.
Mehera Shaw is an independent, ethical design house founded in 1999 as a line of upmarket, fair trade, natural fibers clothing. We are both a US based label and an Indian production studio with all garments being produced in-house in Jaipur, India at Mehera Shaw Textiles Pvt. Ltd. We are committed to ecological and fair trade standards of production, as well as an appreciation of the cultures that are the source of our inspiration. We specialize in the fine cottons, hand block prints, and artisan textile practices from the Jaipur region of North India. We regularly source handloom cotton, wool and silk in support of decentralized, artisan production. We are also wrk with GOTS certified organic cotton and are working toward greater sustainability in all collections.
